card games and ink

Salutations dear readers,

During the first One Piece card game meet up of the year I attended with my partner, I decided to draw in a little notebook that we got from the store that day. I wanted to play, but alas, sometimes cards get banned from the play list every so often (as was a few key cards in my deck ;-;).

I still enjoyed myself though! I always like spending time with everyone and seeing my partner also have a nice time. In between rounds, he liked to come back to see how I was and updated me on how he did. He ended up in the top four! Which was cool to see :].  I'm looking forward to when I'm able to get back into the game again and play with everyone. He's going to help me build a new deck when the next wave of cards is available. So, look out world for my mediocre card skills! Tremble with terror.

Below are the pictures I drew during the card game event. The characters I drew were Chopper and Brook from One Piece if you're unfamiliar. It's been a while since I free-handed any art and it was really refreshing. I wanted to draw more, but drawing tires out my hands quite a bit and leaves me with an ache, so resting was the best thing to do. I'm definitely going to be keeping that little notebook on me for my travels though, I like being able to draw whenever the thought strikes me.

Stay weird and lovely,

null
